Our History
A journey of growth and achievement since 1998
Foundation & Relocation
Founded by Sophia Barongo, Ngando Preparatory School began as a low-cost school affiliated with UASA-K. Initially located along Ngong Road, we relocated to Mutuini (opposite Green Pasture Church) to better serve the community.
Official Registration
In December 2006, the school was officially registered with the Ministry of Education, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to providing recognized and quality education.
Secondary School Expansion
Responding to the high demand for a smooth transition from primary to secondary education within the same spiritual setting, Arise and Shine Evangelistic Ministries was founded to establish the secondary school section.
Serving the Community
We currently cater to over 200 learners from pre-school to senior secondary. We serve vulnerable children, including those with foster or single parents, eradicating illiteracy and instilling Christian values.

A resourceful space stocked with essential textbooks and reference materials. Our preschool section is specially designed to nurture early learners in a safe environment.
Sports & Playgrounds
Outdoor spaces for physical education and extracurricular activities where students engage in football, volleyball, and traditional games to build fitness and teamwork.
